The cover of the latest issue of HGTV Magazine showcases authentic vintage fabric pillows handmade by Houston and Scott.
The cover story of the 2023 March/April edition of the magazine titled "In with the Old" discusses the current trend of decorating with vintage or repurposed items.
The article shows images of items that were purchased through popular websites that sell secondhand or refurbished home décor items. The sofa is described as being purchased through Facebook Marketplace, the Tulip Table from AptDeco and the pillows, two on the left from Houston and Scott, and a yellow pillow that came from and Etsy seller.

The hot pink, purple, and black pillow is an 18" pillow cover made from actual vintage fabric from the 1960s.This fabric has a fun geometric weave and it was created by hand in the Houston and Scott home studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma using a 1955 Sewmor 620 sewing machine. This pillow is one of only two available for purchase in the Houston and Scott online store.
The black and white pillow with red tassels is one of two custom pillows created especially for HGTV Magazine. Made from vintage double knit fabric from the late 1970s, this throw pillow features a long oval geometric pattern. The red yarn tassels are handmade.
